Anybody who’s ever watched any of the “Santa Clause” movies has probably fantasized about terrible things happening to Santa. I’m guessing the makers of Rudolph’s Revenge (play it here) dislike Tim Allen as much as I do, because this is one twisted slot machine. And that’s what makes it awesome.

It’s not very often that you’ll laugh out loud when you first fire up a new online slot, but this game is downright funny. The basic idea is that Rudolph is getting his revenge on the elves and the big guy in red, using whatever weapons he has at his disposal: bombs, missiles, ice cubes (poor, frozen little elves…) Of course you’re not just playing it for chuckles, so I should mention some of the game features I liked. It has a pre-set bet amount – you always play 50 lines per spin, with a 4 cent bet per line, making it $2 per spin. I like that because it’s low stakes per line, but because you’re playing 50 lines you wind up getting tons of wins. Oh, and it has a progressive jackpot too.

The bonus round gives you seven free spins, but with nice prize multipliers. The scatter symbol in this game is a bomb (of course). And the more you hit of them to trigger the bonus round, the better. They also pay off if you hit ‘em during the free spins. So basically the more bad stuff that happens up at the North Pole, the better for you. I’ll leave it up to you whether it’s worth risking a stocking full of coal next Christmas, but if it is, definitely play Rudolph’s Revenge.
