Will Lindsay Lohan go back to jail?
Looks like a welcome back party is in order. Yesterday we learned that Lohan is currently under investigation for physically assaulting a former Betty Ford worker.
A mere two months ago Judge Fox spared Lohan from another stint in jail after she failed a drug test. Fox examined the case and ordered Lohan to stay put at the Betty Ford Center until at least January 3, 2011.
Lindsay has already served three sentences behind bars and when Judge Fox last shipped her off to rehab, he warned, “I agree that relapse is a part of recovery, but I’m not going to be manipulated.”
He means business, and it’s reported that Lohan’s next trip to the big house could be for six months!
Lohan was specifically ordered to stay out of any kind of trouble during her recovery, and it looks like she failed. Like, big time. Further charges may be imposed on her, and we can only guess what will happen to Lohan.
And Lindsay isn’t the only one under investigation either! New details have surfaced and according to The Associated Press, the California Department of Public Health has started an official investigation at the Betty Ford clinic. It isn’t clear if the investigation is related to the employee that was fired for speaking out to the media.
And of course, Dina Lohan has voiced her opinion and is fully backing her daughter. She denies claims that Lindsay refused to take a breathalyzer test after confronted by now-former Ford staffer Dawn Holland. Lohan also dismissed Holland’s claims that she told Lindsay during a phone conversation to refuse the breathalyser test.
Lindsay Lohan’s mother Dina is backing her daughter in her current situation. Lohan explained in a statement, “With all the fabulous employees they have, it’s unfortunate that someone with this kind of background gets through. I stand behind Betty Ford. It is such a fabulous facility. They have been nothing but great. They really helped my daughter and changed my life, too.”
Lindsay is due back in court on February 25 for a hearing regarding the terms of her probation, and probably address the whole Betty Ford mess. Don’t mark your calendars, she may be called back to court even earlier!
