The story behind the game

Pinocchio first poked his nose into popular culture in 1883, in a book called, appropriately enough, The Adventures of Pinocchio. Interestingly, that original story also features all kinds of crazy stuff most of us have forgotten, like an enormous serpent that tries to munch the little puppet, but then laughs so hard at the panicky Pinocchio, he dies from a burst artery.
