Just one day after the ‘Two and a Half Men’ star was released from a Los Angeles hospital complaining of a hernia followed by rumors of all night partying in the company of porn stars, it has been reported that Sheen has checked himself into rehab.
So we’re guessing it wasn’t about the hernia problem….
Sheen’s publicist Stan Rosenfield explained, “Charlie Sheen has voluntarily entered an undisclosed rehabilitation center today,” the spokesman said. “He is most grateful to all who have expressed their
concern.”
The statement did not explain the reason for Sheen’s decision to enter rehab. No additional information, including the name or location of the rehab center where Sheen is being treated were provided at this time.
“Due to Charlie Sheen’s decision to enter a rehabilitation center, CBS, Warner Bros. Television and executive producer Chuck Lorre are placing Two and a Half Men on production hiatus,” a statement released earlier today explained. “We are profoundly concerned for his health and well-being, and support his decision.”
The news comes as adult film star Kacey Jordan, 22, told TMZ she ‘couldn’t keep up’ with the actor during a 36-hour cocaine bender with ‘$20,000 worth of drugs’, that lead to his hospitalization earlier in the week.
Jordan claims that Sheen was smoking cocaine from a pipe while watching porn with her and her friends during the evening. So much for that hernia excuse….
Sheen has been involved in a string of scandals over the past few months, including the notorious alcohol-fueled evening with adult movie star and escort Capri Anderson at the Plaza Hotel in October
2010, which left him in a New York hospital and in every single paper and gossip site. Earlier this month Sheen allegedly spent a weekend in a Las Vegas Hugh Hefner Sky Villa inside the Fantasy Tower at the Palms Casino resort accompanied by handful of other adult film stars.
Sheen also pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault and was sentenced to spend 30 days in rehab after a Christmas Day fight with his ex-wife Brooke Mueller.
Good for you, Charlie. Good for you!!
