Uhoh. It looks like Lindsay has been kicking back a few cocktails…
A former employee of the Betty Ford clinic, where the actress has been recovering, went public with some Lohan deets on Tuesday. The source claimed that Lohan was “out of control” and reeked of alcohol during a violent argument on December 12.
The source is reported as Dawn Holland, a chemical technician at the rehabilitation facility where Lohan has been recovering. Holland gave a testament about Lohan an interview with TMZ.com. She also gave the website a copy of her official Lohan report. Shortly after the story was posted, Holland was fired from her position at the clinic for going public with her story.
The Betty Ford Center explained in a statement, “Regrettably, one of our employees violated strict confidentiality guidelines and laws by publicly identifying patients in a media interview and by disclosing a privileged document.”
Betty Ford did not give any additional comments about Holland’s accusations or a police investigation in which Lohan is a prime suspect for (GASP!) misdemeanor battery.
Holland’s report alleges that Lohan and two other patients snuck off the grounds and consumed alcohol. The three were caught by another staff member when they were “trying to jump over the back wall” to return to the quarters.
Really? I can’t imagine Lindsay scaling walls under any kind of conditions…
Holland was then called, and requested to administer Breathalyzer tests to the three. She explains that this was when trouble started between her and Lohan, explaining, “She was very angry and out of control.”
Police presence was requested and while Holland was in the midst of a conversation with the police, Lohan “grabbed my wrist and snatched it down.” Then Lohan lost her marbles and attempted to wrestle the phone our of Holland’s hands, sending her straight to the ER with a sprained right arm and hand.
What? The? What? Sounds like Lohan got in touch with her inner, terrifying Naomi Campbell!
Lohan would not take a Breathalyzer test, even though she claimed she wasn’t consuming any alcohol.
Lohan’s attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, explained, “We are declining to comment on the underlying facts surrounding this incident, as we await the completion of the police investigation. It should be noted, however, that it was Ms. Lohan who called 911 to request police assistance at the time this incident occurred.”
The clash occurred in the wake of an alleged alcohol party which was hosted by Lohan’s roommates over a week ago. Yes, in rehab.
Lohan is still currently under probation in a DUI case. Any violation, including breaking the law, could send her back straight back to jail.
