Apple’s Middle finger: It’s Pointed at You

By on

Let’s get this clear right off the start: Apple makes some absolutely fantastic products. The issue is not with the quality of their products, but the attitude and manner in which the company operates.

They are giving their customers the middle finger, and for some reason the customers are thanking them for it.

I make the argument that it doesn’t have to be this way. If we want Apple to stop treating their customers with disrespect, we need to stop praising them for doing so. Stop regurgitating their slogans, such as “it just works”. If it “just worked” there wouldn’t be over 300,000 Google results when searching for “Apple repairs”.

Apple makes luxury products. They are built to last for only a short time and cost more than they should. This is okay, but it’s not okay to look down on someone, simply because they have chosen not to buy Apple. I can’t say this enough times: The photo, webpage, video or song you’re working on has no idea what brand-name your computer is.

My family has owned a Windows desktop our entire life. I owned 2 different Windows laptops in a span of 6 years. I have owned a Macbook Pro now for 2 years. I can tell you first hand that I did not even want to switch over but my dad, who was helping me pick out a good one, suggested that I look into apple products. I was totally opposed because I made the same mistake you did. I hated the company for its high-class and rich appearance. When my dad finally convinced me that it is worth the money, I bought the Macbook Pro I am using now for a little over 1,500$. I have not regretted it once since then. It makes me wonder if you have ever tried apple products, I mean really tried them. Not just for a couple days I mean for years. Like I said I was born and raised a Windows man and I can say right now that I have NEVER experienced a faster, more reliable, and safer computer than this Apple Macbook. All I am saying is give these products a chance, yes Apple is persistent and will do whatever they can to make us spend more money, but don’t all businesses do that?

I have nothing aganist macs, my school used only macs and so I was around them for 4 years. But, people who argue the difference between macs and windows is that macs are “more reliable or safer” should look do a little more research than just watching apple advertisements

Fuck Microsoft, and Fuck Apple. Linux, bitch. I never liked macs for more than about five minutes. I got a nasty virus that even the top three virus tools could not remove so I switched to Ubuntu because my windows disk was too scratched to install properly and I have NEVER looked back.
